An update from Poland

We have heard another update from the ladies in Poland. Below are some excerpts from an email sent by our team leader, Priscilla Young.

“It’s Tuesday evening and we are going to have Polish night tonight. The Polish women have been preparing and scheming for this, so we are very excited about what they will come up with. Thursday is American Night, and we are doing a Cowboy and Western themed evening. It should be fun as well.

“Today was my (Priscilla’s) turn to speak, and it went really well. After listening to Wendy Szymczak (from Poland) and Brenda (from Little Rock), I knew I really had speak much more slowly, use visuals, and simplify. Anyway, with all those things to do, I still was able to deliver it in a way that was well received. The women were very attentive; even my group of lowest English speakers didn’t looked glazed over. Thank the Lord, we sure prayed a lot about it. Please pray for April Hudson, who is the next to speak.

“As for the Polish women, there is a wide spectrum of of individuals. Some have come to salvation and have been baptized recently, others are devout Catholics, and others who are far from Christ. Even those who are far from Christ are listening, asking questions, and hearing the truth of Jesus – probably for the first time. It’s really wonderful”

Please continue to pray for our ladies:
For the strength and energy needed, even when they are getting less sleep.
There are several of our ladies who are feeling sore throats and weary.
The relationships would continue to develop with the Polish women.
The Polish women would hear the truth of Jesus in all their conversations.
