Veteran News Anchor at Stonebriar

July 25th 2007 No comments yet

As many of you would imagine, we have a lot of fun serving on staff at Stonebriar Community Church. A joke that we say around here, is that one will never go hungry and most of us gain a few pounds our first year”¦”the freshmen 15″! So you can imagine the snickering when we dubbed 2007 as the year to “Get Healthy”. Each month this year, we have held a health and wellness lunch seminars on various topics ranging from weight loss, fitness, nutrition to encourage individuals on their road of healthy living. For these monthly seminars, we try to find knowledgeable and inspiring teachers to help motivate and encourage those participating to continue pressing on towards their goal of living a healthy lifestyle.

Clarice Tinsley to Speak

This month, I am excited that veteran news reporter Clarice Tinsley will be joining us this month as she speaks on healthy living and diabetes. Mrs. Tinsley has a long tenure in the journalism field and for over 25-year has anchored the primetime newscasts on Channel 4 (Fox) in Dallas. She is involved in our community through many charitable organizations and personally committed to helping others pursue a healthy lifestyle.

Join Us

We are blessed that Mrs. Tinsley will be coming to Stonebriar on Thursday, July 26th at 1pm to speak and would love invite you to attend. You will gain valuable insight, encouragement, and motivation as Clarice shares her message to each of us. If you plan to attend, please call the church office to RSVP and learn more information. Look forward to seeing you there!
